Future Group Holding

Future Group Holding

Future Media Holding is one of the leading media entities in Egypt. It was established in 2011 by Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al-Amin who headed it until 2018, when the Egyptian Media Group acquired 51% of it. As such, producer Tamer Morsi, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Media Group, became the Chairman of Future Media.

Future Media includes Future Media for advertising, Capital Broadcasting Center (CBC) and Arab News Agency (ANA).

On May 24, 2016, CBC and Al Nahar TV announced their merger to reduce the expenses of both networks and expend to the Arabian Gulf.

The merger was under the umbrella of a holding company  of 6 companies: Trenta (the owner of Al Nahar TV), Media Line Agency, Al Nahar Advertising agency, Capital Broadcasting Center (CBC), Future Media Company, Act Company and Results Company. But in May 2017, the merger was ended "because of the difference in visions, channel management policies and media companies”.
